DWCU’s Privacy Policy for the Dakota West CU Mobile Banking Application (“Privacy Policy”) describes Our policies and procedures that apply to the access, collection, use, sharing, and disclosure of Your Personal and Sensitive Information when you use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

- “Application” means the software program provided by DWCU downloaded by You on any electronic device, named DWCU Mobile Banking.

- Online activity data, such as pages or screens You viewed, how long You spent on a page or screen, the time and date of Your visit, the website You visited before browsing to the Service, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about Your activity on a page or screen, access times, and duration of access.
- Cookies, which are text files that websites store on a visitor’s Device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser for the purpose of helping You navigate between pages efficiently, remembering Your preferences, enabling functionality, and helping us understand user activity and patterns.
- Local storage technologies, like HTML5 and Flash, that provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store larger amounts of data, including on Your device outside of Your browser in connection with specific applications.
- Web beacons, also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs, which are used to demonstrate that a webpage or email was accessed or opened, or that certain content was viewed or clicked.
- Location Information. You have enabled location services on Your phone and agree to the collection of Your location when prompted by the Services, we will collect Your location information in the background when You use the Services; for example, to provide our fraud detection services. If You do not want us to collect this information, You may decline the collection of Your location when prompted or adjust the location services settings on Your device.

DWCU may use Your Personal and Sensitive Information collected through Your use of the Service for the following purposes:
- To provide the financial services You request through the Service.
- To provide and maintain the Service, including to monitor the usage of the Service.
- To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal and Sensitive Information You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
- To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application’s push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
- To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
- For other purposes: We may use Your Personal and Sensitive Information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, services, marketing, and Your experience.

We may share Your Personal and Sensitive Information in the following situations:

All third parties, including Service Providers, Affiliates, and business partners, who may have access to Your Personal and Sensitive Information provide the same or equal protection of such information as stated in this Privacy Policy and required by the App Store Review Guidelines.
Retention of Your Personal and Sensitive Information
DWCU will retain Your Personal and Sensitive Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal and Sensitive Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain Your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
DWCU will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
We will delete your Personal and Sensitive Information when We are no longer required to retain that information.
