Dakota West Credit Union firmly believes in supporting the communities we serve in any way we can. This year, all eight of our branches are participating in back-to-school supply drives, collecting donations for traditional school supplies as well as basic hygiene products, clothing items and more.
Our Watford City Branch’s “Apples for Education” Drive will help provide needed items for students in the McKenzie County School District. To participate, all you need to do is stop into the Watford City Branch lobby and pick an apple from the tree to help a local student have a successful school year! We will be collecting supplies at this location through September.
Additionally, our Washburn Branch’s “Stuff the Backpack” Drive helps students in the area fulfill their required school supply list before the start of the new school year. If you wish to participate in this drive, you can visit the lobby to grab a card and supply list. Please note that our Washburn Branch’s drive will end on Friday, August 20th.
While our Watford City and Washburn Branches will serve as the primary locations to pick up supply lists, all eight of our branches will be designated drop-off locations for your convenience. All branches will also be accepting cash donations to support our local students.
For any questions regarding supply lists, cash donations, deadlines and more, please contact your local branch. We thank you all for helping us to help local students in need in our communities!
